YEAR 2005 GRADUATIONS
Welcome to our graduation page. We would like to congratulate
you on you’re up-coming graduation and will assist in any way possible
to make your evening a memorable success!
Before
we get started, we have come across some of best-planned grad events
and would like to pass some of them on to you. One suggestion would
be a small elegant gathering before leaving for the graduation dinner
(perfect photo opportunity), followed by a lively party and an early
morning breakfast with your fellow graduates! Or let us take you
from your graduation dinner to the shore for an after dinner Harbour
Boat Cruise or for a tour of Stanley Park at Night and then on to
a dance or after dinner function.
A reservation for a graduation is required and should be made 5
months in advance of planned graduation date. A 50% deposit is required
at time of booking to secure the limousine. No cancellation is accepted
after 72 hours. We accept cash or credit card, no cheques please.
The balance is due 30 days before the graduation date or your reservation
may be cancelled without refund. Due to the high demand for cars
during this late spring and early summer graduation season, the
itinerary must be received at least 14 days before the graduation
events. We allow for one change only. Extra time is calculated at
½ hour increments and can only be paid for in cash. Credit cards
or cheques are not accepted for extra time.
A
damage deposit in the form of cash or a signed credit card statement
is required at booking and will be returned or destroyed at end
of reservation when it had been determined that no damage had been
caused. Only the "client*" who makes the initial reservation
can arrange for payment, receive a receipt or make changes to the
reservation or itinerary, if changes are possible. The "client"
also assumes all legal responsibility for damages, if any and is
responsible for instructing the driver during transportation. In
the group, only the "client" or designated spokesperson may instruct
the driver or make any changes to the itinerary, except in the case
of emergency.
Please note that it is illegal to drink inside a car, taxi, limousine
or bus in Canada, therefore we cannot permit alcohol in the passenger’s
cabin or the trunk (it is illegal to travel with alcohol in a trunk
unless it is to transport it directly from the Point of Purchase
to the place it will be consumed). Local police forces are acutely
aware of graduation activities, events and favorite locations throughout
the city. As a result they also use more ROADBLOCKS and would most
assuredly search both passenger area and the trunk. If a passenger
is found with alcohol they may be ticketed**. Any penalties
assumed by the company will be billed back directly to the customer.
We want you to have a memorable evening; one that you will look
upon fondly for years to come. One that when reflected upon makes
you laugh or giggle in your golden age. Please bring your own CDS
or video and a healthy supply of film as our drivers love to take
lots of pictures. We supply ice, water, napkins, soda pop and 3
bottles of sparkling apple or grape juice.
* The "client" must be over 19 years of age and
legally able to enter into a binding contract. The "client" assumes
all legal responsibility for the rental of the vehicle and engagement
of service, and is responsible for communicating all arrangements,
itineraries and changes in reservation with the company directly
following the time frames described above. If the "client" does
not accompany the passengers, he or she may elect a "designated
spokesperson" to direct the driver, if necessary, should the itinerary
fail to outline all events. The name of the "designated spokesperson"
must be communicated to the company as early as possible prior to
pick up. Only in the event of an emergency may someone other than
the "client" or "designated spokesperson" instruct the driver. Any
requests made by the "designated spokesperson" after pick-up that
contrasts with the events outlined in the itinerary will be subject
to the driver's discretion, should the "designated spokesperson"
be under age.
** Any penalties assumed by the company will be
billed directly to the customer, including charges for points accrued,
any time in excess of pre-paid contract for legal purposes including
issuing of tickets, court time, accounting, administrative and billing
purposes, or any other costs that may arise due to the illegal actions
of its passengers, which is unknown to the company prior to accepting
the account.
